A Blog By David Braddon-Mitchell

This is a blog of adventures in the bush, with various of my photos. You may find the adventures recorded elsewhere, for instance in Paul Griffith's excellent blog here. Of course, great adventures are found in many versions, as the tales grow.

The Third Budawangs Winter

So winter has come around again; Paul and I drag philosophers out into the cold of Morton National Park. There is much talk of rain; but the Shrounded Gods of the Budawangs smile on us. It's perfect. Mostly sunny, enough rain to make it worth lugging the tents, with dramatic storms to the east -- hence the clouds on this photo to the right, as we are looking north from the end of the Corang Plateau.
